Hideki voices his concerns in 2009 and now it sounds prophetic

Pastor Hideki homophobic or not?

The battle began at my internet site in Japanese which is called MIXI.

I usually share my sermons to Japanese audience. I  translate my English sermon into Japanese almost every week. It is a lot of work just translating my own works.

As a conservative pastor, I mentioned homosexual behavior is not only sinful behavior but also it would be detestable to God an undesirable to Man. This comment triggered attack from Homosexual web surfers since my web is open to the public.

A Web name OXO  described my opinion is homophobic and he used other Christian world view to refute my views were too narrow and judgmental. He used mainly Liberal denominations such as Presbyterian and United Methodist sites. He said “If you are a decent pastor why can’t you agree with other Christians who are more friendly toward gay life style."

 My answer was  ‘Absolutely Not, I am not judging anyone. I quote bible and expressing the biblical value.”

OXO replied with other Christian web site which were admitting Homosexual priest and accepting the homosexual life style. I  have fundamental theological difference with these liberal clergies. However, Non-Christian gay person would not know the difference between the liberal view and conservative view.   My point was not to condemn them as a sinner. As a matter of fact, if I judged them, I would be judged since I am not an infallible man. I have no right to judge anyone. My job as a pastor is  just like a  pointer. I point the sin with my sermon. I believe this is my job. If they were uncomfortable with my sermon, it must be the work of the Holy Spirit. Their conscience is still working. After all, we are all sinners saved by grace not by works.

If I labeled homosexual life style is sin. I am judging according to OXO and I am so called Homophobia. I pointed out the homosexual life style is sinful and not acceptable to God. God be the judge not me.

In California The proposition 8 has passed and people of California decided that the marriage is only between man and woman.  Homosexual group is trying to reverse the proposition 8 by way of judicial system. The proposition 8 was on the ballet since proposition 22 was reversed by the California Supreme court. gay and lesbian attorney reversed the referendum. The proposition 8 was a counter referendum for the decision of  the California Supreme court. People of California has voted twice to protect their traditional value of marriage. The  challenge once again was made by a small minority group on the proposition 8. This is the challenge to the democracy. I am not only talking about the narrow view on homosexual preference, I am talking about the corruption  of the democratic system. Majority must voice the view and respected their voice as law of the land. If the court again intervened this referendum, the system itself no longer would work in the United States. It would not be any differences between North Korea’s regime and California democratic system. Who rules this country, a minority group who has connection to the powerful attorneys and lobbyists or the people?

We must voice the proposition 8 and this decision must remain as the decision of the people.

 Christians would not only lose their right to merry between man and woman. They would soon lose their right to believe in God.

 Do you think I am an extreme  alarmist? I do not  think so. Remember, a prayer was taken away from the public school by One lady who did not believe in God.

We must voice our belief in God and time is Now.
